Divorce as a Program
Description
Divorce is often approached as a legal event, but in reality it functions more like a complex program with multiple phases, stakeholders, deadlines, and risk points. This sprint introduces a structured framework for managing divorce as a project, helping participants understand how decisions unfold over time and how early choices influence later outcomes. Instead of reacting to events as they occur, participants learn to view divorce as a sequence of strategic decisions that require planning, prioritization, and coordination.
Participants will map the major stages of a divorce process, from separation through settlement and post-divorce transition. The session introduces tools used in program management—such as decision maps, timelines, and risk assessments—to help participants identify key milestones and responsibilities. By the end of the sprint, participants will have a clear operational framework for navigating the divorce process, reducing uncertainty and allowing them to move forward with deliberate strategy rather than improvisation.
